White Bread (Quick Recipe)

There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread. This simple white bread recipe gives you two soft, fluffy loaves with minimal effort — perfect for sandwiches or toast.

Ingredients:

2 cups warm milk

⅔ cup sugar

1½ tbsp active dry yeast

1½ tsp salt

¼ cup oil

6 cups bread flour

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes foamy.

2. Add salt, oil, and flour gradually, mixing until a soft dough forms.

3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8–10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

5. Punch down the dough and divide it into two loaves. Shape each one and place it in greased loaf pans.

6. Cover and let the loaves rise again for 30–45 minutes.

7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes, until golden brown.

8. Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing.

Soft, homemade, and delicious — this is the kind of bread that turns an ordinary meal into something special.
