Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet Bliss!

Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet Bliss!

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

4 tablespoons butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)

Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

1. Prep the chicken: Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and thyme.

2. Sear the chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken and sear for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. Sauté the garlic: Reduce heat to medium, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, and stir in the minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

4. Make the buttery broth sauce: Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes to reduce slightly.

5. Finish cooking the chicken: Return the seared chicken to the skillet, spoon some sauce over the top, and let it simmer uncovered for another 5–7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly.

6. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley or chives before serving. This dish pairs wonderfully with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread to soak up all that buttery goodness!
