Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagn

 Ingredients:

1 (25 oz) bag frozen ravioli (cheese or meat)

1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce

1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (optional)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Optional: chopped spinach or sautéed veggies for layering

Instructions:

1. Brown the meat (if using) in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any grease.

2. Spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray

3. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom.

4. Add a single layer of frozen ravioli.

5. Sprinkle some meat (if using) and shredded mozzarella, then a spoonful of sauce.

6. Repeat the layers (ravioli → meat → sauce → cheese) until ingredients are used up.

7. Top with a generous layer of mozzarella + Parmesan cheese.

8. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.

9. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until hot and bubbly.

Optional Finishing Touch:

Remove the lid during the last 15 minutes and let the cheese slightly crisp if you like it that way.

Notes:

No need to thaw the ravioli!

You can substitute with spinach ravioli or add ricotta between layers for extra creaminess.
