Meatball and Mashed Potato Bake

Ingredients:
1 lb frozen or homemade meatballs, fully cooked
4 cups mashed potatoes (freshly made or leftover)
1½ cups brown gravy (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare a Baking Dish:
Lightly grease a 9×9-inch or similar-sized baking dish.
Layer the Mashed Potatoes:
Spread the mashed potatoes evenly in the bottom of the dish.
Add Meatballs:
Place the fully cooked meatballs on top of the mashed potatoes in a single layer.
Pour Gravy:
Drizzle the brown gravy evenly over the meatballs and potatoes.
Add Cheese (Optional):
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top for a melty, golden finish.
Bake:
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until everything is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives if desired. Serve hot!
