Homemade Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
• 4 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
• 2 tsp yeast
• 3 tbsp sugar
• 1¼ cups warm milk
• ¼ cup oil
• 2 eggs
• ½ tsp salt

For brushing:
• 1 egg white + 2 tbsp water (for egg wash)
• 2 tbsp melted butter (after baking)

Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine the yeast and sugar, then add the warm milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
2. Add the oil, salt, and eggs. Gradually add the flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing as you go.
3. Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Divide the dough into 16–24 pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and arrange them on a baking pan.
6. Let the rolls rest and rise again for 30 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
8. Brush the tops with egg wash. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Brush with melted butter immediately after baking.
10. Serve warm with soup, coffee, or tea.
