1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup milk
½ cup water
½ tsp salt
2½ tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter
Oil for frying
Castor sugar (for coating)

Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine milk, water, sugar, salt, and butter. Bring it all to a gentle boil.
2. Remove from heat and quickly add the flour. Stir with a wooden spoon until the dough comes together.
3. Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a large star nozzle and let it rest for about 2 minutes.
4. Heat oil in a deep pan. Pipe strips of dough straight into the hot oil, cutting them with scissors as you go.
5. Fry until perfectly golden and crisp, then drain them on paper towels.
6. While still warm, roll the churros in castor sugar until fully coated.
