Garlic Beef Fried Rice

Ingredients:

– 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
– 3 cups cooked white rice
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 eggs, beaten
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp oyster sauce
– 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
– Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a bit of oil and stir-fry the beef until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, add a bit more oil and sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
3. Push the garlic and onion to the side of the skillet and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.
4. Add the cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps. Stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce.
5. Toss in the peas and carrots, then add the cooked beef. Mix everything well.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
