Fried Chicken Chalupa with Bacon & Egg

Fried Chicken Chalupa with Bacon & Egg

Ingredients:

For the Chalupa:

2 fried chicken tenders

4 soft flour tortillas

4 strips crispy bacon

2 eggs

1 cup lettuce, shredded

1/4 cup mayonnaise or ranch dressing

1/4 cup hot sauce (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Fry the Chicken:

Coat chicken tenders in a crispy breading and deep fry them until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Set them aside.

Prepare the Bacon:

Cook the bacon strips in a pan over medium heat until crispy. Drain on a paper towel and set aside.

Cook the Eggs:

Fry the eggs to your desired doneness. A sunny side up or soft-boiled egg works best for this recipe for that runny yolk effect. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper

Assemble the Chalupa:

Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.

Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise or ranch dressing on each tortilla.

Layer each tortilla with shredded lettuce, a crispy chicken tender, two strips of bacon, and then top with a fried egg.

Serve:

Stack your chalupas as desired, drizzle with hot sauce for extra flavor, and serve immediately while the eggs are still warm and runny.
