Creamy Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta with a Spicy Kick
Ingredients:
8 oz pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish
Directions:
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha sauce to make the Bang Bang sauce. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and the Bang Bang sauce. Stir to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
Add the shrimp back into the skillet and toss gently.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions.
Serve immediately.
