Creamy Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta with a Twist

Creamy Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta with a Twist

Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) pasta (penne, rigatoni, or spaghetti)
1 lb ground beef
6 slices bacon, chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped pickles (optional, for garnish)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the pan.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until the onion is softened.
Stir in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reduce the heat to low.
In a separate saucepan, combine the heavy cream and whole milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warm.
Gradually whisk in the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the beef mixture and toss to combine. Pour the cheese sauce over the pasta and toss again to coat evenly.
Top the pasta with the crispy bacon and chopped pickles (if using). Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
