Crab Bomb
– Ingredients:
– 1 pound lump crab meat
– 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
– 1/4 cup mayonnaise
– 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
– 1/4 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
– Olive oil for drizzling
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, red bell pepper, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to avoid breaking up the crab too much.
3. Add 1/2 cup of panko breadcrumbs and the chopped parsley to the mixture, folding it in until just combined.
4. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1-2 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Sprinkle the remaining panko breadcrumbs on top of each crab bomb and drizzle with a little olive oil for extra crispiness.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
