Cheesy Chicken and Biscuit Bak
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (e.g., Pillsbury biscuits)
1 to 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley or chives (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the sauce:
In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
Add the shredded chicken to the mixture and stir to coat.
3. Assemble the bake:
Pour the chicken mixture into a greased baking dish (9×13 inch works well).
Cut each biscuit in half (or quarters if large) and place them on top of the chicken mixture.
4. Add the cheese:
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top of the biscuits.
5. Bake:
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.6. Garnish and serve:
