Ingredients:

12 fresh oysters, shucked
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
Salt and pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving

Directions:

1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with rock salt or crumpled foil to stabilize the oyster shells.
2. Prepare the Oysters:
Place the shucked oysters on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are stable and level.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Topping:
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. Top the Oysters:
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the garlic butter mixture over each oyster.
5. Bake the Oysters:
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and the oysters are cooked through.
6. Serve:
Remove from the oven and garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges. Serve immediately.
