Cheesy Garlic Chicken Casserole Bak
Ingredients:
– 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
– 2 cups cooked rotini pasta
– 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
– 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
– 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
– 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup garlic sauce (store-bought or homemade)
– 1 cup chicken broth
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
– 2 tablespoons butter, melted (optional for breadcrumbs)
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked pasta, steamed broccoli, garlic sauce, chicken broth, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread it evenly and top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
4. If using breadcrumbs, mix them with melted butter and sprinkle them evenly over the cheese layer for added crunch.
5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
6. Let the casserole sit for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
