Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Balsamic Pork Tenderloin

Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Balsamic Pork Tenderloi

This flavorful recipe is a crowd-pleaser, even for the pickiest eaters!

*Ingredients:*

– 2 pounds pork tenderloin

– 1 teaspoon ground sage

– ½ teaspoon salt

– ¼ teaspoon pepper

– 1 clove garlic, crushed

– ½ cup water

– ½ cup brown sugar

– 1 tablespoon cornstarch

– ¼ cup balsamic vinegar

– ½ cup water

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

*Instructions:*

1. Combine the sage, salt, pepper, and garlic in a small bowl.

2. Rub the seasoning mix onto the pork tenderloin. Add ½ cup of water to the slow cooker and place the tenderloin inside.

3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

4. About an hour before the pork is done, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, whisk together brown sugar, cornstarch, balsamic vinegar, water, and soy sauce.

5. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens, which should take around 4 minutes.

6. During the last hour of cooking, brush the pork with the glaze 2-3 times. For a caramelized crust, transfer the pork to an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet, brush with glaze, and broil for 1-2 minutes until bubbly and caramelized. Repeat this process 2-3 times for a more pronounced crust.

7. Serve with the remaining glaze on the side.

8. Enjoy your delicious meal!.
