Ingredients

2 large onions, sliced into rings
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Olive oil spray

Directions

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place the onion rings in a large bowl and pour the buttermilk over them. Let them soak for at least 10 minutes.
In another bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Dredge each onion ring in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Arrange the coated onion rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap.
Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until the onion rings are golden brown and crispy. Flip halfway through the cooking time for an even crisp.
Once done, remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy, golden onion rings!
