Spicy and Sweet Honey Buffalo Steak Pasta Casserole

Spicy and Sweet Honey Buffalo Steak Pasta Casserole

Ingredients:

1 lb steak, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup buffalo sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni work well)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the sliced steak with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in the buffalo sauce and honey, stirring to combine. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Let the sauce simmer for another 2 minutes, then add the cooked steak back into the skillet.
In a large baking dish, combine the cooked pasta and steak mixture. Stir in half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese.
Top the pasta with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
