Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the cake batter:
3 cups all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
1 cup granulated sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1½ cups milk
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
For the cinnamon swirl:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
For the glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
5 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. (⏱️ 5 minutes)
2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Add milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until smooth. (⏱️ 8 minutes)
3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. (⏱️ 2 minutes)
4. In a separate bowl, mix together softened butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon until creamy. (⏱️ 5 minutes)
5. Drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture over the batter and swirl gently with a knife. (⏱️ 3 minutes)
6. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. (⏱️ 40 minutes)
7. While the cake bakes, whisk together the glaze ingredients until smooth. (⏱️ 3 minutes)
8. Pour the glaze over the warm cake right after it comes out of the oven. Let it soak in and cool slightly before slicing.
