Grilled Cheese Pizza
Transform your regular grilled cheese into a pizza-inspired delight with this deliciously cheesy, saucy twist!
Ingredients:
2 slices of bread
2 tablespoons of butter
2 slices of mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons of pizza sauce
1/4 cup pepperoni slices (or other toppings of your choice)
1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the bread: Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
Assemble the sandwich: Spread a layer of pizza sauce on the unbuttered side of one slice. Place a slice of mozzarella on top, then add the pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings). Sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan cheese if using.
Close the sandwich: Place the other slice of bread on top, buttered side out.
Grill the sandwich: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the sandwich in the skillet and grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve and enjoy: Once your grilled cheese pizza is perfectly golden and melted, slice and serve warm.
